- Maggie Lena Walker Memorial Park, Richmond, Virginia, A Ten foot bronze figure and three bronze bas reliefs. Mendez collaborated with VHB Architects and Engineers to design a 6000 square ft. plaza and memorial in honor of Civil Rights leader, first African American woman to charter a bank. 2017
